This year I decided that I was going to take on Christmas Eve dinner! What a task that was....I started the night before by making all the desserts. I made pies, and cheesecake, I also put a ham in some brine. The next morning (Christmas Eve) I took the ham out, and went to work. I was stressed out all day trying to figure out how I was going to get everything cooked by 6:30 and still work all day. Thankfully my supervisor was kind enough to let me off at four. From then on I was working my tail of trying to get everything done. And by golly I did it! Dinner was ready and served by 6:30. I was so happy and everyone loved it! That night we sang songs and laughed and opened our pajamas. Jason and I did a horrible job of picking pajamas this year. The ones I choose for him were huge and the ones he choose for me were a little small. So needless to say there is one thing I will be exchanging.
So I have something to confess. I love Christmas morning and the excitement of it all. I woke up at five and I knew that Jason would not like it very much if I woke him up then, so I TRIED to go back to sleep. But was constantly waking up every fifteen minutes or so. Finally I got him out of bed at seven and we went down to open our gifts. Hailey did really good, we had to keep her interested most of the time, but once she found that there was something inside the wrapping paper she was all excited to find out what was in it. Well I will stop talking now and just let you see the pictures. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone and Happy New Year!
