There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found..

For when they placed it on his head he began to dance around.

Okay, he may not have been dancing around but he sure is looking snazzy in his new clothes. The girls were so excited to have clothes on him. Our snowman is almost done (still pondering on a name), Hailey calls him Dough Ma (snowman in her language so that I think has become his name), I can't wait for February, Valentines Day wall will be SO fun!

FHE Week #2

Here is the second week (I'm a little late at posting, sorry) but week two of our snowman grew a FACE! Hailey is loving this and it has been fun to have something to do each family night. And don't mind my messy kids it was right after dinner.

Cake for A 1st Birthday

Allison's 1st Birthday Cake

FHE project Week 1

Throughout the last few months of last year we have dedicated a wall in our kitchen for a craft wall. Something that when we as a family make something it gets displayed for the whole month. So each month this year we will have a theme for the wall and make something each Monday to go on it. I think this will be really fun for the girls since lessons aren't that fun when you are really young. We have a prayer, a song and Dad usually reads a story out of the Friend while the girls and I get to work. This month our theme is Snowmen. We made a big snowman out of printer paper and each week we will add something new to him. Here is week 1!

Christmas Morning 2010

I woke up bright and early at 5 am for Christmas morning. Of course the rest of my family thought that it was just a regular morning and that it is more fun to sleep in. I went downstairs and finished the rolls for breakfast so they could finish rising, played on Facebook for a little while then decided that I had enough of that and that 6 am was late enough for my family to sleep in. Plus, I am pretty sure that I heard Bridgette waking up ;) Here are the early morning pictures of every one.First look at Santa's gifts

Opening the gifts
After we opened everything Grandma and Grandpa Timothy came over and gave us an Awesome cooler! I am so excited can't wait till summer to use it, and a case of Cream of Chicken soup, yumm! We were able to go out for dinner at Grandma Dana's house and then came home were I got to prepare a lesson for the next day. It was a great Christmas couldn't have had a better one!

Not such a big fan of Santa.....

Every year I take the girls to see a Santa somewhere whether it's at Strata or Stewart's just somewhere we can get a picture taken and not pay an arm and a leg for it. Ever since Hailey was little she has hated it. Bridgette on the other hand had no problem and sat on his lap long enough for me to walk away and get her picture taken. Well the first two times Hailey ran screaming with each Santa (the one at our Christmas party and the one at Newfield's breakfast with Santa) she wanted nothing to do with him. So I figured we would try again at Strata on the 22nd. I got grandma to go with us to take the picture. This Santa had it figured out, bribe her with a candy cane and that got her close enough to take the picture. Don't mind that I had to be in it too. Maybe next year she will be brave enough not to scream and cry when we go to get her picture taken, then again these are kind of cute.

PARTY!

Again this year I was on the Activity Committee and got to help plan and decorate for the Christmas Party. It turned out great and we all had a lot of fun. The theme was Santa's Village and I didn't get very many pictures unfortunately my camera died when we were finished but here is what I got.
