Well a few weeks ago we decided to go to Oregon for the weekend. We left here around 5:30 at night and traveled all night to get there. Let me tell ya 14 hours at night seems like a lifetime. Thankfully Hailey decided that she would sleep the whole way, that was sure a blessing!

We showed up at my house around 6 am (7am our time) and there was a light on in the front room, we were trying to figure out who would be awake at that time, since no one but my dad knew we were coming. I still had a key from when I lived there and we just let ourselves in. My mom was sitting on the couch in the front room doing some school work and you should have seen her face! I wish I would have had a camera ready. It was priceless, a mixture of surprise and confusion! Normally, Hailey wakes up around 6-6:30 and so she was wide a wake and ready for breakfast. I guess what was a blessing while we were driving didn't look so good now. She wanted to eat and play and not go back to sleep. While I on the other hand just wanted to sleep. Jason was way tired when we left so I had drove most of the way. My little brother Joseph woke up about this time which was perfect, I gave Hailey to him to play and we went and crashed for a few hours. The rest of that day we just hung out with my family. I got to see some people that I hadn't seen in a long time and just relax. It was a nice break from the normal every day stuff.

Hailey's first motorcycle ride!On Sunday, we went to church and it was their stake conference that was televised. It would have been good if Hailey hadn't been screaming the whole time! They had turned off all the lights which made her think we were putting her to bed and she was not ready for a nap and she let everyone know. Once we took her in the hall she was just fine. It was kinda funny, Jason did not see as much humor in it as I did. 
That afternoon my dad, brother Joseph, Jas and I went shooting. It was fun. The guns I shot were really heavy so I had a hard time hitting the target and holding the thing up at the same time. 
Monday we left around 8:30 and came home. We got here about 12:30 am and went to bed. It was a quick trip but well worth it. We love you guys it was really good to see you again.
